Saturday, August 4, 2018 - Dark color. When drinking last night I thought the nose was terrific but cannot recall specifics today. The palate bodes well for the future though, with good fruit, cigar tobacco tannins beginning to resolve and hints of but not overwhelming oak that should integrate fairly soon. Also a pleasant taste on the palate that another taster calls umami and gives it a distinctive flavor too. Excellent.
