Saturday, August 18, 2018 - With cold cuts of roast pork. Audouzed 2hrs. Purchased in France in 2005, this has been lurking in my cellar for quite some time now. Very Pommard initially, firm structure to the fore, fruit in a distant second place. Over the course of the evening, while the wine was never less than 'tannic', it came much more into balance - the last glass being best & beautiful. A Burgundy for Barolo lovers.
