Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - Garnet color and ruby to the edge and opaque with a bit of haze. The smells are currant, orange zest, prunes, and sweet spices. Tastes are coffee, cacao, cherry, blueberry, pepper, tea, and brown sugar. Tannins are like fine velvet and there is a long finish with a little heat. Very complex.
