Wednesday, August 22, 2018 - Inky purple and lighter garnet to the edge, opaque and slight haze. Smells are blackberries, lavender, cigar wrapper, barnyard, and jammy red fruit. Tastes are blueberries, blackberries earth, wet stone, and dark chocolate. There is some heat on the finish and good acidity with course satin tannins.
