Tuesday, June 10, 2008 - This is only my second experience with any Beaucastel... First time was the 1996. This wine is stunning! It started of a bit soft and flabby, but picked up acid VERY quickly over the course of a two hour meal with Eric. Wonderful red fruits, anise, tar, and olives. Of course, this being Beaucastel, it was a little "funky". Bravo!
