Red colour with a brick red hue. Mature nose showing perfume, leather and black currants. With some extra glass time it opens up with lovely notes of hip roses, stables and cedar wood. Mature smooth palate with softened tannins, drying fruit and some hip roses and a balanced finish with an elegant finish showing a slight sweetness intensity still before a touch of pepper. This was drinking very well right now and was at its best from start and over the first two hours before showing a more acidic touch on the finish. Should keep well for the coming years, but will not improve.
(Probably best 2010-2025)
