Wednesday, September 13, 2017 - Very good (+).

Clear, deep, ruby, with a narrow garnet rim, legs.
Clean, developing, medium nose of blackberries, violets and white pepper.
Dry, medium (+) acid, medium fine coal-dust like tannin, medium (+) alcohol (13.8%), medium body and medium (+) intensity of blueberry, blackcurrant, vanilla, violets, white pepper. Medium (+) length.

This is at the high end of very good, immaculate balance and texture, leaving lots of room to improve over the coming years, but already drinking very well.
