Thursday, December 6, 2018 - Notes of weathered leather, pencil shavings, dried tobacco leaves, dark fruit, dried plums, sous bois and a peppery note, reminding me of Pimientos de Padrón, all came to mind and lent the wine a rather sophisticated touch. Charming and rather feminine on the palate, with already resolved tannin, a medium-plus body, remarkably fresh acidity and a long-lasting finish. This bottle was in a really good spot and was drinking quite nicely.
