Thursday, December 13, 2018 - Nose: Right from the get go there was a beautiful truffle, floral, earth and Plum perfume. Grew, and evolved showing embers, cocoa and herb notes. Palate: Enters with great plum/cherry fruit that is very soft, midpalate elements of mineral and truffle linger in the background. Finish: Powdery tannin and a nice lifted mouthfeel yields a fairly rich finish with plum and mineral. Touch of coconut oak.

Good wine that was evoloved out of the gate, but held in place mostly. Fatter fruit advanced nicely during lunch.
