Sunday, December 23, 2018 - Drinking great. Slightly funky forest floor nose, raspberry and tobacco. Pleasantly earthy palate, again tobacco, with nice density of currant fruit. Medium acidity, dusty, mineral finish, mature tannins. For my taste this is probably near peak as the mix of primary secondary and tertiary flavors is great. But seems likely capable of aging 5 or 10 years further for a more tertiary profile.
