Monday, December 24, 2018 - Clear garnet in color. Shy nose of black cherry and black tea. Matching dark fruit palate is medium-bodied with medium tannins: high for a bottle at this price point. A really nice Willamette with a semi-Burgundian ethos at a bargain price. If you haven’t taken the plunge into America’s “go to” region for the Black Pinot, this is a worthy entry point. Enjoy with a wide variety of foods, including (as I am) the classic salmon.
