Friday, December 28, 2018 - Violets with a hint of menthol on the nose. Dark garnet in the glass with translucent edges. Smooth and supple finish with flavors of dark berries and currant. This is a fantastic wine and one of my Favorite Carter's produced. Consistent profile year after year. Downside is the price is beginning to hit stratospheric levels, which will keep this and other Carter wines out of reach for many oenophiles - which is unfortunate given the caliber and experience of Mark's wines.
