91 Points

Friday, February 8, 2019 - Third of the blind red wines. Theme was Cabernet Sauvignon or Bordeaux Blend from Oakville, Stags Leap District or generic Napa Valley with professional reviews of 95+. This one was a ringer in the mix.

Deep purplish red in appearance. A bit mute on the nose with some chalky and dark fruit notes. Medium tannins (6/10) and full bodied. Lots of black cherries, gravel and a touch meaty on the palate. Overall still baby with a super long and powerful finish. Wouldn't touch one of these for a few years. Drink from 2020 till 2030+. (91+)
