Wednesday, February 27, 2019 - Dark and inky in the glass. On the nose: Sandal wood, black cherry, red licorice, and fruit cake. On the palate: silky tannins with a medium to full body and vibrant acidity...cherry cola notes, mild cedar, stewed blackberries, and baking spices with a hint of ginger snap on the finish. Given the challenging vintage a solid effort.
