Thursday, February 28, 2019 - The color is deep garnet, opaque, and ruby at the edge. The smells are currants, cherries, sweet red jam, and blackberries. Much fruit on the nose with some hints of wet stone. Tastes are cherries, tart raspberries, cedar, strawberries, and currants. This is hedonistic, the tannins are strong but velvety, and the finish is lengthy.
