Community Tasting Note

Saturday, February 9, 2008 - Deep ruby red, showing little evolution on the rim. Trademark Pauillac nose of blackcurrant, cedar, graphite and pencil lead. A little red fruit too. Good acidity and firm tannins, with warm fruit and a touch of mint / menthol on the finish. A little pepper on the nose after some time, and green pepper with the menthol on the finish. Savoury, angular and very good but lacking richness.
