Friday, March 15, 2019 - Rich dark fruits jump out the glass. Flavours of plums, raspberries, milk chocolate, olives with good supporting spice/cedary oak characters encasing and supporting the lovely fruit. I'd say it's in the savoury spectrum of fruit, the structure is very good with some good acidity also. The finish is long and delicious with just a touch of tannic grip on the finish. The longer the bottle was open, it showed more and more. Over the next 7-10 years this should evolve nicely. A very good McLaren Vale Shiraz.
