Saturday, March 23, 2019 - Perfect balance with fully resolved tannins that let the mineral, pencil lead and yes! light dark cherry flavor thru. Only a light hint of the spicy oak pops up in the finish but overall its blended in. Wine tastes years younger and only the balance and smooth finish hint at a well aged wine. The cork like most older SO's broke in the bottles with a cork-screw and needed an atzu-fork opener to get out.
