Friday, April 12, 2019 - CBCC Opening dinner. Thanks Bob D.
The wine held well against the lineup. The oldest of the bunch. Starts with a nose of blackberry fruit with a slight amount of cedar. On the palette the wine is all Cassis, with some tobacco at the mid palette, and a finish which introduces a slight amount of lead.
This was the most tame of the bunch as it is not a fruit bomb, but rather a refined well structured Cabernet.
