Tuesday, April 16, 2019 - This wine is crisper than the standard Rombauer. There are more dried apricot and dried mango flavors at the start. The mid palette has a "paper" quality mouthfeel with less fruit expansion on the tongue and more cardboard mouthfeel and taste for that matter emerging. The finish is tight and crisp. There are lingering flavors of pineapple and mango.
Not as good as expected but none the less better than the normal Rombauer.
