Friday, May 3, 2019 - First Bevan red, ever. Very young, hot and closed at first. Slow ox for 3 hours and the wine finally started to show hints of complexity. Layers of dark fruit, spice and a hint of sweet vanilla. Still young, reminiscent of a talented athlete still on the JV but with 3 years left to make the varsity. Loads of potential, time will tell...
