Sunday, May 5, 2019 - 1st of 4 for me. Seemed a little sharp and angular on the pop, so I let it hang out in the decanter for about an hour while our pork chops with orange avocado salsa were coming together, and that seemed to do the trick, as this came around to a pretty nice little pinot here. Medium ruby color with transparency. Aromas of cherry, black cherry, smoke, black tea, orange peel, lemon, anise, clove, leather, and wet slate. Light to medium body, medium (+) acid, medium finish, and flavors of high toned red fruits, lemon, orange peel, black tea, and spice. Solid wine and pairing. 90+
