Saturday, May 11, 2019 - A very good non-vintage champagne. Vinous and quite substantial, but not as baroque as Deutz. Very good balance, purity and a strong finish with chalky minerality. Compared to Ruinart or Billecart-Salmon the acidity and perlage feel a bit more coarse, therefore not quite as elegant as these. Sadly you cannot find the degorgement date on the bottle. This one was probably a bit too young.
