Friday, June 7, 2019 - Five winos excellent adventure , mostly in Burgundy; 6/7/2019-6/15/2019 (Beaune, France): Expressive nose displaying opulent jammy red fruit, cherry liqueur, strawberry jam, incense, dark spices, a hint of garrique, black pepper and limestone. Excellent concentration, nicely layered intense red fruit, silky and polished, good acidity and mineral, and a long sweet red fruit driven finish. This is a big scale but nicely balanced CDP.
