Likes this wine:

Tuesday, July 16, 2019 - This has started to settle down since my lasting tasting a couple years ago. Less exuberant with the ripe fruit receding and more of the structure and complexity showing. Beautiful aromas of black currants, forest floor, pencil shavings, violets, and dark chocolate. The balance is excellent with pure fruit, supple tannins, and crisp acidity. The bouquet is quite special and the fruit is much more palatable for me than when this wine was younger. An exceptional value from an era when Napa was still rational.
