Saturday, August 24, 2019 - 4th Saturday group "uptown" tasting (M&R's): Double blind. Aromas of dark fruit, sous bois and wood spice. Flavors of dark fruit, underbrush and cherry. Nice structure. The fruit comes forward as this sits in the glass. Hints of cigar box too. Perhaps just a little shorter than I'd like on the finish. An excellent representation of "Napa doing Bordeaux."
