Sunday, October 6, 2019 - Unusual. Both in aroma and taste, it had characteristics of a big-styled pinot and a sangio. The tannins/mouthfeel were very Chianti-like. The fruit as a mix of dark and sourish (in a good way) red. Il liked it, but not sure that I understood it.

One caveat. While not my first Loring, it was my first wine from this vineyard by any producer. So, I am not sure whether some of the wine's characteristics are specific to the site.
