Thursday, October 10, 2019 - The 2009 Fourrier Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Cherbaudes is lifted and very oaky. It reminded me of modern style of Domaine Leroy, though the wax above the blind tasting sleeve and excessive amount of wines did not improve my guess from there onwards.. Tasted blind – lots of new oak, the cork and oak smell reminds me of Domaine Leroy, lifted and energetic. 2011? Volnay? (92/100)
