Thursday, October 31, 2019 - ACORN has been sending me samples now for a bit, and I have always been impressed with their wines. But. I had never visited the winery, which makes me loathe to write about the wine in any detail. That all changed this summer. I will write more about that visit soon, but suffice it to say that Betsy and Bill Nachbaur are delightful. And I love their wines. This Dolcetto took a while to open up, but when it did? Oh boy. Fruity, tart, on the verge of exquisite. This does not cause one to reminisce about a Dolcetto from Piedmont, but it will make you want to explore them. thedrunkencyclist.com
