  11/20/2019 7:29:00 AM - Wow, sorry to hear that. I've got to check in on my bottles as it's been a couple of years since the last one. Do you mind sharing how your bottle(s) was stored since release? (Mine have been in good, but not ideal, cellar conditions - always completely dark with no exposure to sun or other light, decent humidity, and with temperature ranging from mid-50's to mid-60s seasonally and sometimes with a bit above and below.)

  11/24/2019 2:07:00 PM - I have owned it for a few weeks, stored properly on my end. bought it from a reputable place north of sonoma, however I do not know how it was stored before they got it. I won't be spending time trying to figure that out... got more wines to try :) It wouldn't surprise me that this issue is related to storage... wonder how yours is in proper storage?

  11/24/2019 2:24:00 PM - Thanks for the follow up. I breathed a sigh of relief last night when I popped open a bottle. Though my cellar conditions are not perfect, it is dark and doesn't get above 70 F (knock on wood, no poorly timed sustained power outages so far). All of my bottles were purchased directly from the winery and pickup up by me, so provenance is assured.
  
  Sometimes even reputable wine shops end up with some poorly handled bottles in their inventory.
