Thursday, December 12, 2019 - Wow! I definitely would mistake this for a Napa Cab! Big nose of dark berries, cherry cola, licorice, and cigar ash, but there’s an initial funk, that while not appealing, fades immediately to the good stuff. Body is big an continues with more dark fruit and dusty tannins (but this is a made from Rutherford grapes if memory serves me). Excellent value and a lot of fun to see if you can fool a Napa Cab lover.
