After 30 mintues in glass, the flavours start to harmonise, revealing layers of strawberries, rapsberries, blueberries, white pepper, plum, cassis, licorice, well-judged oak/vanilla, dark olives, dried herbs and spices. More complex than most other Cote du Rhone wines at this price point. Finish is reasonably long and complex. But flavours start to recede and deteriorate after 3 hours.
