Sunday, December 15, 2019 - This wine, in a lesser CNP year, was just perfection for my palate. It had all the hallmark qualities of the appellation-- ripe fruit, concentration-- but in moderation making it a wine of finesse and pleasure rather than the explosion that I too often find in CNP these days. I enjoyed it more than the highly rated St Prefere A.Favier we drank the other night, even though it was less complex. Midweight but still with good long finish, this is a lovely food wine and will be a pleasure to drink over the coming 1-2 years.
