Tuesday, December 24, 2019 - From an excellent looking bottle, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose offered up over-ripe apples, pear, almond paste, and white stone.

In the mouth, this wine very rich but with very firm acidity. It had excellent length. It was best after 3 hours of air facilitated more integration.

The touch of over-ripeness leaves this wine a bit one-diimensional. However, it was dramatic and entertaining. While it will last 5-10 years, I would be inclined to drink this up.
