Community Tasting Note

Thursday, December 26, 2019 - Decanted for two hours. Blackberry, green tea, bbq sauce, hot stone, flower shop and dried cranberry. Exceptionally layered, with silky, elegant tannins, along with a full body. The finish glides along and this seriously rivals the stellar ‘15. A benchmark for this chateau. There’s a latent viscosity, and this is currently muted...so the cellar beckons. Drink 2026 -.

12/27/2019 10:46:00 AM - I am beyond guilty of infanticide with Bordeaux! I am the worst. It can’t be helped, I tend to love them the first year of release and then the following five or more years later. The way that many fine Bordeaux are produced now allows for that sort of enjoyment. When it comes to young Bordeaux, I love taking one for the team. This bottle was purchased by yours truly, where as some others have not been...it just depends. 🙂
