2/1/2020 7:51:00 PM - Curiously I have had great experience with this wine in particular and all of the Baudry Whites I have tasted. Is there any possible storage or provenance explanation (poor storage at retailer, etc)? I have not had any issue with anything close to oxidation in the bottles in my cellar.
    Cheers!

2/1/2020 11:06:00 PM - Hi Dave, thanks for your return. I am in Cravant at the Baudry estate once a year and this since 2002. I always take mainly reds but also 6 bottles of la Croix boissée back home. I take care about the temperature during the trip and my celler in an old French house does not go higher than 20 deg C max in summer. So, no idea about the variations of the bottles. I know 2 other persons which have the same issue with these wines. In general, we Open them early and we have less worries. Cheers, Markus aka MJREB.
