Sunday, February 2, 2020 - Still reductive matchstick on the nose - I love it, but realize that other folks may not.
Lithe and elegant on the palate - I think this is the most structured version of this wine that I've yet tried from Marcus, and as I'm sure I mentioned in my previous notes, the first time I've had a Durant where I think it is the equal in quality/pleasure/potential to the Richard's.
Delicious as a youngster, and the challenge here will be to bury a few bottles because this is definitely a wine that feels like it will be much better in five and then 10 more years.
