Saturday, February 29, 2020 - This Weingut is climbing up the quality ladder since 5 years or so, its Heerkreetz Riesling is among the most interesting GGs of the VDP, so what about the Gutswein the business card of W-St.?
Great showing in the 10€ class, zesty lemon driven, full of tension with some grapefruit in the background, mineralic salty, reel refreshing long finish, needs about a year or two to get more balanced, for me among the very best entry level bottlings of Riesling from Germany, *(*+ -?), around 87,88(+)
