Friday, March 27, 2020 - Very pretty cherry red. Absolutely classic nose of menthol and rose petals. Drinks very well straight out of the bottle. Some tannins yet to be resolved but what do you expect? Welcome to barbaresco! Clearly made to be enjoyed young I don't think there's a huge amount of upside from here (perhaps another year or two) so just enjoy it for what it is - a throughly nice bottle of nebbiolo which is drinking really well right now. Only gripe? 15% alcohol.
