Friday, March 27, 2020 - This is an awesome wine in an awesome spot currently. I had this and a bottle of the 2014 AW blondes back to back. This is more mellow, more even, more smoothed, and absolutely delicious. If this isnt the best bottle I've had in the past 6 months, its really close. Lots and lots of layers with fruit, herb, and other tones perfectly balanced out and peeking through. The acid is there but smoothed out and the tannins have really mellowed, esp compared to the 2012 AW ciel. Love this wine, wish I had many more.
