Sunday, April 12, 2020 - Popped and poured. This is a dense purple wine. On the nose, I get black currant, cassis, mint, and blueberry. In the mouth, this is a dense, smooth, and layered wine, leaving a rich and long-lasting finish. Overall, this is a powerful wine in which the quality and effort are apparent. That said, it may be too much for some folks (indeed, the absurd over-large bottle is unnecessary and too much for me). Still, it is hard to find a fault and this should be awesome with a quality steak. 94 points.

4/15/2020 12:28:00 PM - Greetings,
Posing the same question to you as others. As I might have stated in the past buying the 2018’s of Bevan, B Cellars, Carter, and VHR (do I have VHR right) Already bought enough Schrader. Do you have a small list, maybe three, of others I should check out? Of course only if they are as good as the bottles I mentioned. Thanks Dave
