Sunday, June 7, 2020 - It´s better not to count all these old days as student, these days, when you've drunk in Greece to much of that - what was the name? - retsina. Horrible! And than - 30 or 40 years later (it feels good to be unprecise) - you drink "tear of the pine". Well: different. Still very particular, but extremely drinkable. Nose: Mellow pine resin, of course, mixed with a bit lovage and rosemary. Apple packed with lemon ... assyrtico, in a beautiful way. Taste: Pine resin, followed by lemon zest, apple jelly and a nice "grippy" acidity. I´ll have more of it to wipe out my old memories.
