Saturday, June 13, 2020 - Clear deep purple. Some sedimentation in bottle.
Black fruits, ripe plums and cherries
Dried herbs, dry earth, pepper
Something animal/manure
Olives/cured meat
Dry
Med body
Med+ acid
Med+ tannins, bordering high
Med+ alcohol, but balanced, maybe 14%?
Palate matches nose
Med+ finish, hint of bitterness
Vg now, could see it developing well with more secondary, animal flavors and tannins falling by another notch into truly pleasant territory. 1h decant
