Monday, June 29, 2020 - Into decanter for 30 minutes, then 30 more in glass before starting. Consumed over 3 hours afterward. Fair amount of sediment in the bottle. Started off with lots of smokey char, earth, and old leather on the nose, and from there just kept on changing and evolved into something completely different by the end. Well balanced palate with super polished tannins, but still enough to provide backbone. Enjoyable and plenty interesting.
