Thursday, June 25, 2020 - Dark purple in color. Notes of blackberry, violet, licorice, and tobacco. Very big wine, hard to believe it was 14 years old.

I had a 2009 a few years ago and it was a beauty. Had a 2014 a few weeks ago and it was bombastic and not in a good way.

7/9/2020 12:41:00 PM - Just realized I put 4 years old. Just fixed it. Mollydooker definitely makes big wines. It is a style I think I appreciated years ago, and less so now. Still nice, but just a bit too jammy for my palate now. They are more interesting when older, and I based on this wine, they could age for many more years.
