Thursday, June 25, 2020 - Probably just past peak at this point, but still some good ripe fruit... plum and black cherry. Plenty of leather, a little oak. This is big and very dry on its own which I really like, but it’s able to be tamed by some wood-fired pizza with special meats and cheeses. The balance was wonderful, and this proved to be a real treat. Great lasting finish. Give it 20-30 minutes after opening. Drink up and impress some of your better wine friends. 92 pts.
