Sunday, July 12, 2020 - Ready to go after 3 hours in the decanter. This is definitely ready to go and would be a great gateway wine for big cab lovers who are ready to open their minds a bit ... shows what Syrah can do in the hands of great winemakers.

Pours a dark purple and retains the intensity to the rim. You wouldn't think this is 7 years old at this point. Plenty of blue fruit, but also plenty of acidity to keep it going. Held up just fine on Day 2. In the window now, and figure it easily has another 5 years in front of it.

Paired this with hanger steaks and Wagyu NY Strips
