94 Points

Monday, July 20, 2020 - Dark garnet color turning orange rust at the rim with a transparent edge. Legs indicate viscosity that’s apt for the vintage. High octane notes of black fruits, cola and smoke. The palate is ultra ripe with a velvety texture, but enough acidity to carry the blueberry, plum, kirsch, flavors with a bit of underbrush and lavender tones. The alcohol is a bit overwhelming which coats the palate all throughout, but aides in the otherwise medium finish with hints of herbs de Provence. Drink now until 2032.
