90 Points

Monday, July 27, 2020 - Grown in the 400m high hills in Campania; fermented in Stainless Steel and aged on its lees for two months.

Medium lemon (from skins); Medium+ complex aromas of acacia, honeysuckle, jasmine, lemon zest, nectarine, pineapple, yogurt, and stale beer. The few years of bottle age have provided some tertiary notes of dried banana chips, dried pear, orange peel, and hazelnut. Dry, with a slight viscosity from the grape skins, this higher acid white shows zesty minerality and bitter pistachios on a medium+ length, lively finish. The best example of Fiano I have found. VERY GOOD

7/27/2020 3:39:00 PM - This is good to hear...I’ve got a couple more of these, and to my tasting note of 2018... I concurred that some bottle age would improve this flavor profile.
