Thursday, July 30, 2020 - Light garnet turning tawny orange rust at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose gives off high-pitched smoky red berries, and new leather. Very light-bodied and silky in texture with flavors of medium-ripe strawberry, raspberry, and cranberry. The medium plus acidity could trick you into thinking it’s from the New World, but the ripeness prevails and is reflective of the vintage. Finishes long and smoky with hints of dried herbs. Drink now until 2030.
